Onsite Implementation Guide
UCSF is an on-site organization, promoting essential interactions that drive collaboration and nurture the vibrancy of our culture in ways that cannot be achieved through virtual platforms alone. The FAS Onsite Implementation Guide features best practices for space management and flexible arrangements, FAQs and helpful links. It is an evolving “living” document and will be edited and updated.
Space
The Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor works with FAS departments on space strategy and management. The FAS Flexible Work principles include:
- Sustaining the excellence UCSF is known for: the highest quality of education, research, patient care, and administration.
- Ensuring equity and consistency in our expectations of all staff.
- Planning for improved resource utilization (space, parking, etc.).
- Providing exemplary service to learners, faculty, and staff, with the in-person work as our default.
- Honoring our role as an anchor institution.
