Nominations for the 2018 Chancellor Awards Open January 8

Dear UCSF Community,

We are pleased to send this announcement that the nominations for the 2018 Chancellor Awards will open early-January 2018.

These awards celebrate your colleagues who have gone above and beyond in their service to UCSF as well as to the larger local and global community. Please use this advance notification to consider nominating deserving individuals for the following awards:

Chancellor Award for Exceptional University Service

This award recognizes extraordinary professional commitment and contribution to university service and citizenship that goes beyond the scope of an individual’s function at UCSF that serves as a model for future generations of UCSF employees.

Chancellor Award for Exceptional University Management

This award recognizes extraordinary professional performance and managerial service to the university beyond the scope of an individual’s function at UCSF that serves as a model for future generations of UCSF managers and supervisors.

Chancellor Award for Public Service

This award recognizes outstanding community and public service beyond the scope of an individual’s function at UCSF that serves as a model for future UCSF faculty, staff, students, and trainees.

Nominations open January 8 and are due by February 16.

Please submit nominations electronically using the nomination form as well as the e- nomination and e-support letter forms (all available on the respective websites) to Suya Colorado-Caldwell (Exceptional Service and Management) or to Edward Samayoa (Public Service) and do not hesitate to contact them directly for more information or assistance.
