Arleen and Brian Rocked That Project
What does it take to rock a project? For Arleen and Brian, it takes vision, strategy, organization, communication, collaboration, technology….and kindness. After two and a half months of work, the results were incredible: the eta.ucsf.edu website had 12k visitors and 20k page views when it launched, with 30% of visitors signing up for alerts. They shared a few tips on how to rock that next project, and what brings them Pride.
What’s one thing about the project that brought you Pride?
Arleen: As a long-time City resident, I’m proud to be part of UCSF’s effort to prepare the campus community for the Chase Center, which will be a legendary addition to San Francisco's history and landscape. I remember the days before the Oracle Park baseball stadium existed. It’s exciting to be involved in a project closely tied to the growth and development of Mission Bay.
Brian: The underlying technology created by the team is “next generation”—it works for many different channels (mobile apps, website, digital signs) and scales to 100x of our current capacity. The lessons learned help set us up for success in other initiatives.
