Klint Jaramillo-Hudson, Executive Director of FAS Organizational Culture and Strategy, will be relocating to Toronto, Canada, to be with his family. His last day at UCSF will be September 30, 2025.
Dear Colleagues,
I am writing to share that Klint Jaramillo-Hudson, Executive Director of FAS Organizational Culture and Strategy, will be relocating to Toronto, Canada, to be with his family. His last day at UCSF will be September 30, 2025.
"This decision comes with a full heart, deep gratitude, and incredible excitement for what lies ahead,” shares Klint.
We celebrate Klint’s 12 years of service in the University of California system—including the past 9 years at UCSF. Before he joined FAS in January 2024, Klint was an Executive Director leading the LGBT Resource Center, Multicultural Resource Center, Undocumented Student Support Services, and the Diversity and Inclusion Certificate Program (DICP) for the Office of Outreach and Opportunity (formerly ODO).
A few of his many UCSF accomplishments include creating and launching the Pronouns Matter campaign; co-leading the implementation of UC Gender Recognition and Lived Name policy; serving as lead instructor for the Diversity and Inclusion Certificate Program; advising on the digital accessibility compliance project for Title II/ADA; and revamping the FAS PRIDE Advisory Committee.
Klint’s work to transform the FAS PRIDE Advisory Committee solidifies his legacy, with recruiting underway for our next generation of inclusion leaders for the 2025-2027 committee, kicking off this September. (FAS PRIDE Advisory Committee membership applications are open to all FAS staff through this Friday, August 15.)
“In times of uncertainty, true leadership shines brightest when anchored in integrity and the unwavering pursuit of justice,” Klint said. “As higher education faces growing challenges, may we continue to stand firm, speak truth, remain vigilant, and lead with courage.”
Thank you, Klint, for your service, and we wish you a fabulous new adventure in Canada.
Sincerely,
Erin S. Gore
