Overview

FAS Organizational Culture & Strategy provides expert consulting services to enhance workplace culture, strengthen organizational development, and foster a deep sense of belonging at UCSF. Partnering with leaders and department staff, we implement unit-specific operational improvements that drive meaningful change. 

FAS PRIDE Advisory Committee

Overview 

The committee provides a structured forum from which the Senior Vice Chancellor and FAS executive leadership are apprised of recommendations and concerns related to FAS culture. The committee serves as an advisory group that informs and identifies efforts to improve and promote an inclusive workplace. 

Membership

Members are expected to demonstrate a consistent interest in and support of creating and continuously improving the FAS culture.

Committee members will:

  • Serve a 2-year term. Terms for committee members will be staggered to allow for continuity in membership.
  • Represent each of the FAS unit/departments. Membership representation dependent on department size.

Appointment and selection:

  • FAS staff will apply for membership.
  • Must submit a statement of interest; have formal supervisor approval; and be in good conduct/standing.
  • Appointed by Executive Director of Organizational Culture and Strategy

Membership

Membership to the FAS PRIDE Advisory Committee was appointed by the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor with recommendations from each of the FET. This steering committee represents all employees within FAS and is charged with: 

  1. Recommend goals and tactics to the FET
  2. Monitor and report progress on goals and tactics from a department level and FAS level
  3. Facilitate communication across all FAS team members
  4. Plan events and programs for FAS
  5. Be advocates in FAS
