Dear Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) Community,

The FAS Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility and Anti-Racism (DEIA-AR) Steering Committee and SVC Erin Gore invite you to the third event of our Speaker Series on Thursday, June 30, 12:10-1pm featuring Darrylyn Z. Swift.

Darrylyn is an expert in diversity, equity and inclusion strategies. She will walk us through an introduction to de-escalation (a process to calm a situation before it intensifies) concepts and principles and where to find training and resources. Samira Lopez, a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse and Lead for UCSF's Code CARE Support Team, will talk about the de-escalation program in development.
