Enterprise Emergency Management’s mission is to coordinate and support saving lives and preventing human suffering before, during, and after disruptions, incidents, or crises. UCSF EEM is comprised of three teams: Planning & Business Continuity, Operations, and Health Emergency Management. The teams work collaboratively to build a well-prepared UCSF community that can respond effectively and recover successfully from disruptions, incidents, or crises.
Services
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine emergency management preparedness, readiness, response, recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Provide operational readiness capability with field and leadership teams during responses to incidents and planned events.
- Lead and support comprehensive emergency management training, exercises, education, and continuous improvement programs.
- Maintain emergency communications equipment.
- Coordinates the UCSF Emergency Management and Resilience Committee (EMRC), a Chancellor’s Leadership Committee that oversees emergency management and resiliency efforts across the UCSF enterprise.
