Dear Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) Community,

Please find updates below on the following topics:

Staff Engagement Impact/Action Planning Status

Engagement is defined as “Alignment of maximum job satisfaction with maximum job contributions.” Impact/action planning provides the opportunity to integrate engagement into daily work life. We are very proud to announce that 98% (that’s 114 out of 116) of designated FAS teams have created 309 engagement action plans to address topics important to their working environment.

For the remainder of the fiscal year, teams will focus on making progress on their plans to strengthen and advance employee engagement.

The next engagement survey is being planned for April / May 2015. There will be further communications as the survey date approaches.

FAS Customer Satisfaction Survey

Delivering customer service with C.A.R.E. (Collaboration, Accountability, Responsiveness and Efficiency) remains an important FAS value. To measure trends in customer satisfaction and identify improvement opportunities, we conduct a survey every two years. The customer survey closes today, November 19th at 5pm. Our current participation rate is 18.5% which is slightly higher than the 18.2% rate in 2012. Use this link to see live response rates, including number of responses for your FAS unit: http://www.srgsurvey.com/ucsf_stats/

Initial survey data are expected in early December with full graphical reports and customer comments in January.
