Dear Financial & Administrative Services Community,
With the 2020 election tomorrow, I am writing to share some tips and resources you might find helpful during what could be a busy week.
Voter turnout is on pace to be the largest that has been seen in quite some time, according to media reports. I hope each of you has had a chance to make plans to go vote on November 3, if you haven’t already sent in your mail-in ballot.
I also want you to know that teams across UCSF have been preparing to provide guidance and support services to the UCSF community in the event of any likely election-related scenario. UCSF Health is also taking sensible steps to ensure our ability to continue serving the health care needs of our patients.
For now, take a look at the resources assembled here, on the 2020 Elections Resource webpage, which will be updated as needs arise. You will find useful guidance on:
- election education opportunities,
- accessing UCSF facilities, family services, and transportation services, and
- mental health and well-being resources.
It has been a long and eventful year. Thank you for your ongoing leadership and hard work.
Paul Jenny
