Dear Finance and Administrative Services (FAS) Community,
The first phase of the UCSF 2.0 Project, UCSF2025, goes live next week on September 11 and 12 at ucsf2025.org. By now, I hope you’ve seen the posters and read the story and publicity on ucsf.edu. As of Tuesday night, we had over 1300 pre-registrants—the breakdown is as follows – 46% staff, 20% faculty, 8% management, 7% students, 4% postdocs, 3% med center, 3 % friends of UCSF, 1% alumni, 4% other and 3 % non-affiliated or declined to choose.
Although many people will wait until the last minute to sign on, please take a moment to pre-register. By doing so, you will be given early access to two key game play resources. First, the full scenario video which allows you to immerse yourself in the world of 2025. Second, a chance to create your player profile ahead of game launch.
I encourage each one of you to set aside time during the 36-hour game period to contribute your ideas to help shape the future of UCSF. Each one of us comes from a different perspective which can add insight to the conversation. In addition to logging-in from your computer or mobile device, community play areas and terminals will be set up next week in high traffic locations (e.g., MCB, Med Sci Lobby, Genentech Atrium, LHTS View Cafe).
