FAS Staff Engagement Survey Results 2021

Dear Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) Community,

We have good news to share! Following the release of UCSF’s overall 2021 staff engagement survey results, we wanted to provide more details about our FAS results and next steps. We increased staff engagement and met all four tactics to advance racial equity and belonging.  More FAS staff shared their voice this year, with increased participation compared to our last survey as well as UCSF’s 2021 participation rate. This didn’t happen by luck; it is the result of your dedication to improving the work experience for Our People. This past year, FAS departments logged more than 126 activities to support staff engagement, almost half (44%) geared toward the Belonging Index. Below is a summary of the key numbers, what we heard, and the next steps.  
 
Thank you for your continued efforts to improve our workplace, and especially to the ambassadors and staff involved in implementing the survey. We have much to celebrate, and more work to do.
