PMO Leadership Announcement

Dear FAS colleagues,

I am delighted to share an update about our Program Management Office (PMO) leadership. Please join me in formally welcoming Stephanie Metz as the new Assistant Vice Chancellor of Strategy and Business Transformation for PMO effective immediately.

Stephanie has served as Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor of Strategy and Business Transformation since July 2019. After a pause in recruitment due to COVID, we completed the competitive, nationwide search this week. Thank you to the search committee and stakeholders who contributed to this process.  Thank you also to Stephanie for her leadership over these past 16 challenging months. In her new permanent role, she will continue to represent PMO on the FAS Executive Team (FET).

Before assuming the interim role, Stephanie served as PMO’s as Director of Operations. She joined UCSF in 2017 as the Director of the FAS Finance Service Center. Prior to UCSF, Stephanie spent 17 years in finance, administration, and project implementation at UC Berkeley and Arizona State University. Stephanie earned a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts from Southern Methodist University, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Loyola Marymount University.

Please join me in congratulating Stephanie.

Sincerely,

Paul Jenny
Senior Vice Chancellor
