Thank you for sharing your voice -  2021 engagement survey 

Dear Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) Community,

We asked you to share your voice about how work is going for you, and you accomplished something extraordinary! Our FAS participation increased for the 2021 UCSF Staff Engagement Survey to 84% compared to 81% in 2019, the last year we took the survey. 

We’ve steadily increased our participation rate every year for the last three surveys, meaning more of you are investing time to share your feedback. Thank you for helping us make work better for you! And a special thank you to our FAS Engagement Ambassadors and staff engagement teams.

What’s Next  
We are looking forward to getting back the survey results to better understand your workplace experience. Managers will receive their team’s results on June 11. To help prepare us to make the best use of your feedback, Learning and Organizational Development is providing the following opportunities: 

  • June 3, 2-3pm and June 10, 9-10am – Manager Training to access results and resources (register on UC Learning Center; event will be recorded)
  • June 10, 12-1pm – Engagement Ambassadors Quarterly Check-in
  • July 14, 12-1:30pm  - 2021 Staff Engagement Town Hall with Chancellor Hawgood 

FAS leaders will be meeting with Gallup representatives in July to review our results and uncover trends and opportunities, helping us refresh our ongoing department action plans. We will send a follow-up email in late summer sharing our FAS overall results.
