UCSF Finance leadership announcement

Dear Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) Community,

Teresa Costantinidis, Vice Chancellor and Chief Financial Officer, will be departing UCSF to take on the role of Senior Vice President Finance and Administration at the University of New Mexico. Teresa will begin her new position on July 1, 2019, and we expect her final working day at UCSF will be sometime in late June. The President at UNM has asked her to begin her new role on the same date as their new Provost.

Teresa has worked for the University of California for 33 years, including 25 years at the Berkeley campus, and 8 years here at UCSF.  She has played a key role in developing UCSF’s comprehensive financial and capital plans, including the 10-Year Financial Plan. In the light of last week’s announcement about my additional responsibilities as Interim Vice President and CFO at UCOP, please know that Teresa leaves behind an exceptional team in UCSF Finance.  We will be working on a transition plan; don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Please join me in wishing Teresa the best in her new opportunity.

Sincerely,
Paul Jenny
Senior Vice Chancellor
Finance & Administration
