Dear Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) Community,
I am pleased to announce that Maric Munn has agreed to serve as Interim Associate Vice Chancellor-Campus Life Services as we continue our search for a successor to Angela Hawkins who will retire at the end of September. Maric’s interim appointment will be effective October 1 and continue until we confirm a successor for Angela.
Maric joined UCSF in 2007 as the Director of Facilities Services after serving six years for the UC Office of the President as the Associate Director for Energy & Utility Services. Prior to UC, Maric has over 20 years of facilities and physical plant positions including development and implementation of innovative green building, clean energy and climate change policy, innovative solutions for dealing with complex regulatory environment for utilities in California. Beyond her strong history of engineering and facilities management, she had a reputation for collaboration, creativity and accountability.
In her interim role, she will oversee all operations within Campus Life Services, (including Facilities Services), as well as FAS’ Office of Strategy Management and the FAS Finance Service Center.
