Dear Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) Community,
I am writing to introduce some organizational changes within FAS. Consistent with the IT Operating Model (ITOM), I have asked Joe Bengfort, senior vice president, associate vice chancellor and UCSF chief information officer, to oversee the review of FAS department IT and the immediate centralization of two groups. This move will allow more transparent decision-making and more efficient access to data and enterprise-wide analytics that enable scalable technology platforms.
